Danish vintage oakwood modular shelving system, 1960s

Elegant Danish vintage modular wall unit, in the style of Cadovius and Preben Sorensen, come from the 1960s (similar mounting system and carpentry). This set is an entirely modular shelving system with twelve shelves in oak veneer hanging on solid wood rails. The wall unit can be arranged upon one's will. The poles are combined from two pieces each. This set consists of – 12 shelves, each of them 20cm D. – brass hardware – 3 wooden rails 200 cm long ( 2 parts 97 cm long and 2 parts 103 cm long = 200 cm) The set has been entirely renovated and the hardware has been cleaned. All shelves have been sanded down to the bare wood, stained and are finished in thin mat lacquer for easier, more carefree maintenance. Even though they come from differ sources, we uniform their look. This set looks like new and has the quality and esthetics of the new furniture. All the parts that have not been usable, like the old brass screws or sometimes the brass pins, we exchange for new ones. We hang each set on the wall to check if it works properly, fits well etc. We have already worked on over 1000 Scandinavian wall units and they found new homes all over the world. We have way more shelves and rails available and may customise the set to your needs by adding additional rails and changing the number of shelves. When we prepare another set for you the wood grain on the pieces you will receive may slightly differ from the one on photos, but the dimensions, quality, colour and finish will be the same, top notch Futureantiques standard.
