About this vintage design furniture

Classic off white PH 4/3 from the 1980s. It has straight shades and is stable with its original rivets. The orange light bulb cover cup is still on. (These are very often lost) Great condition with almost no signs of use. Poul Henningsen’s legendary design stems from his own, brilliant three-shade system from late 1920s. Poul Henningsen original design from this period was highly functional, some people might even call it ‘Industrial,’ targeted specifically towards young students. Poul Henningsen was born in Copenhagen by the famous Danish actress Agnes Henningsen. He never graduated as an architect, but studied at The Technical School at Frederiksberg, Denmark from 1911-14, and then at Technical College in Copenhagen from 1914-17. Standard E27 light bulb socket. Reference : 309947
