Vintage "Bailiff" desk in black lacquered metal and wood by Pierre Guariche for Meurop, 1961

Bailiff" desk by Pierre Guariche for Meurop. Produced for only a few months in 1961. Black lacquered metal structure, walnut veneered chipboard top (rare), wooden drawers, brushed aluminum handles. In good vintage condition, the desk has been fully restored, with a few defects, scratches and minor signs of use and age still present. Traces of use and stains in drawers. Very good overall appearance, exceptional wood grain. Key missing. Dimensions: Width: 125cm, depth: 70.5cm, height: 74cm, usable width between pedestal and base: 67cm, usable height under shelf: 68cm.
